    This is a sandbox post, go ahead, throw your two bits in. In fact, this whole site is a sandbox at the moment. Post stuff, you can always delete it. Play around, see how it works. The only people who have access to this site at the moment are people who registered for a user account at VancouverCondo.Info before Friday Jan 13th, 2012.

    looks exactly the same when viewed from my pc : )
    the only thing was, when I enter the site for the first time on my android, it was blank (with a link that says: “View non-mobile version of the site” (something like that.) After following the link to view the regular version of site, it was all good. My 2nd time entering the website, it went straight through without needing to stop at the blank page first.

    Now I’m going to test attaching pdf…

    I can’t seem to add a URL picture to the update on the main page. (the “What’s new, jesse?” frame. There is a box to add an image but when I do so and click on “Add Photo” nothing happens and it goes into the ether.

    Hmm. Not sure what’s going wrong there, it’s working here.  Click the camera icon, then click add image url and paste it in.

     

    That said, I think we’re going to drop the ‘what’s happening box’ because it’s outside the forums and it would be better have everything happening within the forums so it’s easier for people to find later.

    My interface I don’t “paste it in”, I have to click “Add Photo”, and when that happens it simply resets the box. I can “preview” fine but any time I attach a picture from URL it dies.

     

    I tried uploading a file from local drive and it seems to work fine.

    Hmm, I can’t seem to link images from http://www.postimage.org, or link via short url.  It keeps putting my posts to “awaiting moderation”….  Please advise, thanks!  VMD

    Hmm.  That’s odd, we don’t get any moderated comments here that need approval.  Are you able to attach an image file using the ‘Attach a file’ box below?

    The idea in the forums is to ideally hold the images locally instead of linking to an external source.  So if you’re able to upload an image from your computer that would be ideal.  After you upload using the ‘Attach a file’ button there’s a “insert into editor” button just below the ‘Successfully uploaded’ message.  Click that to have your image show up in your posting.  Otherwise it will just show up as a clickable link to view the image.
