There's a piece in The Economist this week having a more-than-mild dig at the federal government for not doing enough quickly enough to cool down the housing market... notes that even the gentle decline the govt predicts will create a sustained drag on economic growth for years to come..,. worth a read for Skook and others! And, besides The Economist, Western Investor (May 2014 issue) has not one but two articles on Sunshine Coast real estate (page 10 & 11). Big title = China discovers the Sunshine Coast. Article talks about sale of the Sechelt Golf Course and pricing overall being attractive. Current house prices, along with the super natural coastal amenities/attractions of the Sunshine Coast (upper & lower), are being touted as very favorable for buyers.....yahoo! Positive (upwards price) change is coming, folks.
