Suggest and ye shall receive. Jezebella was sitting on a few more pics of the balloon - all from those various angles I mentioned in my post above. She has forwarded all to me and like those first two balloon pics, I am prepping and posting them on her behalf. Here are the additional images with her comments.

View from the Marina:
In the background, the view stretches from the Town Hall location on Fletcher Rd (near building with green roof) to Abbs Rd at top. When you consider the mass of the proposed George buildings as well as their height, it's easy to imagine how the view from the houses toward the Bluff and the Gap will be blocked.


Affected homeowners:
This picture shows the houses most directly behind the proposed George. Again, one can imagine the hotel’s mass and height.


View from Gibsons Landing Quay:
This pic is from Gibsons' beautiful dock with the wharfinger's building framing at left. The proposed George would dominate the landscape from here, too.


On Winn Rd just above its intersection with Gower Point Rd:
The charming peaked roof house with the luscious tropical garden in the back--it has banana trees and is a mini tourist attraction--will be demolished for the hotel. Winn Rd is a popular walkway, the only really accessible path to the waterfront.
