This is a difficult note to write because I tend to be very private when it comes to personal matters; however, to truly understand my silence this past month and what lies ahead I believe I must tell more than I would like to.

I am a very sick little marsupial. Two days ago, I commenced treatment to deal with this serious issue - the first of many that will be spread out over the summer months. These treatments and my pain meds (I am pretty loopy) will curtail my involvement here in the forum.

I have nearly completed the Sunshine Coast April sales stats - just have to prepare images and organize - will luck it will all make sense. I hope to continue to post the sales stats and keep profiled coastal developments updated; however, there will not be any new material coming unless it is work already started and close to completion. The VIREB sales stats may have to be put on hold indefinitely.

So, while I hover in the background, I hope that those who have recently joined the forum and those who visit on a regular basis will step forward to fill the void. The forum’s “Community Guidelines and FAQ” under “Site News & Announcements” as well as the tutorials on “Posting Basics” are there to offer advice on getting started. If you have “how to” questions, post them in “General Chatter” and someone (maybe me, too) will come along and offer assistance.

Wishing you all the best,
Skook
Wishing YOU all the best at this difficult time! My very heartfelt sympathy in this devastating situation.

I wish I could offer more.
Hang tight eh? Take care of you.

... Skook, I am wishing you a full recovery, and with as little pain as possible. Your analytical gift and honesty are rare and should be cherished.

Very best wishes,

Jimmy
You are in our thoughts. I dedicate this to you:

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Dylan Thomas
Skook, really sad to hear this, I hope you are doing ok despite. You have by far been the most generous contributor to this site, thank you for that. Please get well soon.
Skook, all the best with your new medicalized lifestyle. Even loopy on pills I suspect you'll be more lucid than most of us. Wishing you a good outcome and please let us know how it's going.
skook we wish to thank you for all your work
I just want to post quick note to thank everyone for your best wishes - your kind thoughts have been greatly appreciated.

I’ve just completed my fourth treatment on the 30th and although each treatment is hell we’re seeing positive results.

Preparing the SC stats has been a challenge and I’m not sure if they make sense. I hope to be up-to-date by mid-week and update other posts after that.

Who knows, maybe if I am inspired I might start working on the VIREB stats again. No promises, though.
Skook,

Not sure if you are of the praying sort but I will say one for you tomorrow morning. Keep going - glad to hear it's working.

Jimmy
