I understand that 40 acres of the Cape at Roger Curtis on Bowen are being offered for sale at $5.4million. No doubt this is because the forthcoming bylaw banning private docks at CRC has put the kybosh on developer plans for huge houses for the super rich, who would have been able to moor their boats at their own docks and avoid the ferry and highway combo. Poor developers....
A little snapshot, while I'm here - 40% of the listings as of today have been on/relisted, etc for more than a year on Bowen. How does this compare with other Gulf Islands?
