Welcome Back! - admin - 12-28-2012

We're going to try running this site as a proper forum so that members can share thoughts, data and stats. We're currently in the process of setting up the forum and we'll be trying to add in the good content from the previous iteration of Vancouver Peak (daily stats, etc).

Because of the new format we'll no longer be using the same log in credentials of our sister site http://vancouvercondo.info, so you'll have to create a new account here to take part in the forums.

Any suggestions on features or forum categories are always welcome!

Not sure if our activation email is working for new registrations yet, so we've manually activated VMD and Village Whisperer. Please leave a comment on VCI if you're having activation problems.

Unlike the old site this forum has open registration, but a few strict rules to cut down on the spammer accounts: All new accounts must be activated within 24 hours or they will be deleted. All new accounts must be used to post to the forum within 30 days or they will be deleted. Any spam posts will result in account deletion.

I assume some one paid for the domain name and the hosting service?

The problem with a lot of free sites is that they are not reliable.

The current time of the site seems to be 8 hour ahead of Vancouver time.

For what it's worth, I registered into this forum today without any issue. I noticed a few weeks back that vancouvercondoinfo was giving out passkeys and meant to register then but didn't find the time. Today I registered without the passkey and there were no problems.

I would recommend to the admins that they create an area for new members to introduce themselves.
