Hey, it's 2017...and...here's my blog posting updates!!!

Yep, it's me, Skook. The sabbatical is over and I've begun to post over at the new blog. Just a few entries so far to get back in the groove.

If you look at the blog title, you'll notice a change - I'm going to be adding Powell River stats - something a thought about in the past.

Here's the projected order of posting:

- Powell River 2016 sales stats
- Powell River 2017 sales stats
- Bowen Island 2016 sales stats
- Bowen Island 2017 sales stats
- SC 2016 sales stats
- SC 2016 sales summaries
- SC 2017 sales stats

In addition, I'm preparing "About" pages for Powell River & Bowen Island; as well as, demographic/population posts for all three areas based on last month's release of 2016 Canada Census data (scary).

I'll be chipping away at this pile of posts at a sedate pace, no doubt...
Seriously, I will try to get these up as quickly as I can now that the Stanley Cup finals near their end. Don't know about you, but I think this is the last year for me and hockey - too damn long a season. My interest began to wane in March. I keep thinking that Bettman et al have an ultimate goal of hockey year round.

I have a prediction. If the Penguins win, I think Sidney Crosby will be announcing his retirement. He'll be turning 30 in August and 12 years as a marked man is long enough. If not this year, then next year for sure.

I digress...keep checking the blog...posts will be a coming.

The first Powell River stat post is up on the blog. It's an historical look at residential year-end total sales and average sales prices for the years 2005-2016. The aim is to put this year's sales in perspective when I get around to posting them.
